Common problems in DTU application

　　 DTU is the full name of GPRS data transmission unit. At present, in China, there is actually a clearer agreement on GPRS DTU: GPRS DTU is a GPRS wireless device specially used to transmit serial data through the GPRS network. The following introduces the common problems of DTU application and the working engineering of GPRS DTU.

　　1: Unable to connect to mobile network

　　 In this case, we must first see whether the SIM card is installed correctly and whether it is loose; secondly, check the antenna and whether the operator's network is up to the standard.

　　2: The server often drops offline

　　 Check whether the configuration of the module's gateway and extended parameters is correct; secondly, check whether the DTU network signal is stable and good.

　　3: No data is sent or received

　　 After logging in to the master station, there is a problem with the data transmission and reception. In this case, check whether the data line is connected reversely and whether the baud rate of the DTU serial port is set correctly; secondly, check whether the master station has made corresponding data to the IP address.

　　4: Only the power light is on when the machine is turned on

　　 check whether the bootload program is intact

　　5: Hardware problem

　　 In terms of hardware, DTU often has problems such as power-on failure, no serial port detection, and antenna interface mismatch in applications. In this case, the hardware fault can be detected and eliminated according to the configuration parameters of the specific product manual.
