Types of DTU

According to the different data transmission methods of DTU, DTU can be divided into 4 types: GPRS DTU, WIFI DTU, CAN DTU, 4G DTU.

GPRS DTU:

Use the public operator's network GPRS network (also known as G network) to provide users with wireless long-distance data transmission functions. Adopt high-performance industrial-grade 8/16/32-bit communication processor and industrial-grade wireless module, with embedded real-time operating system as the software support platform, and provide RS232 and RS485 (or RS422) interfaces, which can be directly connected to serial devices to achieve Data transparent transmission function.

WIFI DTU:

Wireless data transmission products based on wifi wireless communication can realize remote management through the Tlink free Internet of Things platform, and synchronize online data recording, analysis, historical query, WeChat, SMS alarm and other functions in multiple ways.

CAN DTU:

Support process data objects, service data objects, emergency message objects, synchronization message objects, network configuration objects, etc.

4G DTU:

4G DTU is widely used and has many functions. It supports dynamic data center domain name and IP address, supports operator APN or VPDN private network, and provides three communication interfaces: TTL, RS232, and RS485. In addition, it also supports remote SMS configuration parameter query and remote Functions such as device restart and remote device parameter configuration.
