The NiuBoL Pyrheliometer adopts advanced design concepts and precise manufacturing processes to ensure the high performance and stability of the product. Its core components are the optical cylinder and the automatic tracking device, both of which work together to realize the precise tracking of the sun's position and the efficient collection of radiation. The following are its core principles and structural features:
1. Precision structure: the instrument is mainly composed of optical cylinder and automatic tracking device, which contains seven light columns, inner cylinder, thermoelectric stack and desiccant cylinder and other components to effectively reduce internal reflections and ensure measurement accuracy.
2. High-efficiency sensing capability: The light cylinder is equipped with a fast-responding wire-wound electroplated thermopile inside, and the sensing parts coated with non-glossy black paint can accurately capture the solar radiation and generate an electric potential proportional to the intensity of the radiation.
3. Environmental adaptability: Adopting JGS3 quartz glass sheet, it can transmit radiated light with wavelengths of 0.27-3.2µm, adapting to the measurement of direct solar radiation in various environments. Built-in desiccant prevents water vapor condensation to ensure measurement accuracy.
4. Thermopile Sensing: As the core of the sensing component, the wire-wound plated thermopile is known for its fast response speed and accurate measurement capability. Its surface is coated with a non-glossy black paint to maximize the absorption of solar radiation. When sunlight hits the hot contact of the thermopile, the temperature rises and creates a temperature difference with the cold contact, which generates an electromotive force proportional to the intensity of the direct solar radiation, allowing for accurate quantification of the amount of radiation.
