The method is: the antenna can be extended to a place where the signal is good (disadvantages: extending the antenna will attenuate the signal by 10 meters). Or if possible, put the equipment chassis and DTU together in a place where the signal is good (extend the serial port data line).

　　2. Remote areas such as mountainous areas often have weak signals. In such a situation, you can choose a high-gain antenna (very expensive!) to enhance signal reception. There is also a prerequisite for thinking that when data transmission is not very frequent, you can consider using SMS to transmit data. (The method of sending text messages can also be sent when the signal is bad. It is just that there may be some lag. Special reminder: When you encounter an emergency, you can try to send a text message when you can't make a call).

　　3. The DTU parameter setting is inappropriate. This situation is the most common. Often many technicians do not understand DTU, and the parameter settings are unreasonable. There is a heartbeat packet in the DTU to prevent being T (of course it also exists for detecting the online situation). Operators have different detection times in different regions. We can set the heartbeat packet time interval to be less than the detection time to avoid being dropped by T. There are some other parameters that can also be assisted. The specific situation should be communicated with the manufacturer's technical staff.

　　4. Due to the large number of DTU manufacturers, the quality will vary greatly. Sometimes a cheap DTU is purchased to save costs, then there is no way to solve the instability in this situation. Remember that cost is directly proportional to quality. DTU is just a small part of the whole system. Don't cause high maintenance costs in the later period because of this small link. Some customers can buy N units of DTU for the travel expenses for one repair.
