Advantages of LoRa technology

LoRa mainly operates in free frequency bands worldwide (ie unlicensed frequency bands), including 433, 868, 915 MHz, etc. LoRa network is mainly composed of four parts: terminal (built-in LoRa module), gateway (or base station), server and cloud. LoRa application data can be transmitted in both directions.

The advantages of LoRa are mainly reflected in the following aspects:

　　 1. Greatly improve the receiving sensitivity and reduce power consumption;

　　2. The gateway/concentrator based on this technology supports parallel processing of multiple channels and multiple data rates, and the system has a large capacity.

　　3. The terminal and concentrator/gateway-based system can support ranging and positioning.
