- Installation of the sensor: When the sensor is shipped from the factory, the probe is equipped with a transparent protective cover and built-in protective liquid to protect the probe. Before use, please remove the protective cover, fix the filter tank to the sensor, and wrap the filter mesh on the filter tank with the attached tie to prevent direct contact between the soil and the probe to avoid damage to the probe. Please make sure the filter tank and filter mesh are firmly connected, and do not insert the probe directly into the soil.
- Vertical insertion: Insert the probe partially vertically into the soil to a depth at least covering the filter. Under normal circumstances, the pH value in the air is between 6.2 and 7.8, but the pH value of the soil may vary in different areas, so you need to judge according to the actual situation.
- Pour in the right amount of water: After burying the sensor, pour in a certain amount of water around the soil to be measured, wait for a few minutes until the water is fully immersed in the probe, you can read the data on the instrument. Under normal circumstances, the soil is neutral, the pH value is about 7, but the pH value of the soil in different areas will be different, you need to judge according to the actual situation.
