Ultrasonic telemetry technology: By transmitting 50KHz ultrasonic waves and measuring the time difference between the transmitted and returned signals, the snow depth can be calculated accurately.
Wide applicability: Suitable for extreme environments from -40℃ to 50℃ and 100% RH humidity, ensuring stable operation in any bad weather. It can be widely used in meteorological monitoring, airport operation, port management, laboratory research, industrial and agricultural production and transportation management.
High-precision Measurement: Measuring range is 0-1000mm, and the measurement accuracy reaches ±0.1%FS, ensuring the accuracy and reliability of the data.
Intelligent monitoring: Equipped with intelligent acquisition system, it can automatically switch the working mode according to the real-time temperature to realize automatic monitoring.
Durable design: adapt to extreme working environment, working temperature range -40-50℃, storage temperature range -40-65℃, humidity ≤100%RH.
Intelligent heating system: automatic heating in low-temperature environment to maintain sensor performance, power consumption as low as 3W, taking into account the efficiency and energy saving.

To ensure the normal use and accuracy of the Snowpack Sensor, please follow the steps below for installation and setup:
Wire and install the sensor correctly as indicated in the wiring method and installation instructions.
Place the sensor in a 1.3m (±0.1m) detection position to ensure a secure installation.
Open the snow sensor probe protection cover.
If equipped with the collector produced by the company, turn on the system power.
In the “Other Settings” → “Snow Settings” of the collector, set the starting working temperature of the snow sensor (default is 5℃, can be set by yourself).
After setting the snow temperature, select “snow detection” and switch the “stop” mode to “start” mode.
Click “Confirm” button, the system will automatically detect the base height of the sensor.
Note: If you have adjusted the height of the snow sensor, you need to reset the reference height according to the above operation.
When the real-time temperature T>T0, the collector automatically turns off the display value of the snow sensor.
When the real-time temperature T<T0, the collector displays the test value of Snowpack Sensor, and the monitoring data of Snowpack Sensor can be acquired.
Do not install or commission the sensor under extreme weather conditions as this may affect the performance of the sensor.
Regularly check the connecting wires and interfaces of the sensor to ensure reliable connection and avoid data loss.
