- High Precision Measurement: Utilizes a wire-wound, plated multi-junction thermopile as the core sensing element, with a surface coated with a high absorption black layer to ensure measurement accuracy.
- Wide Spectral Range: The measurement spectral range of 0.3-3μm meets the needs of measuring various types of radiation.
- Double-layer Glass Cover Design: Reduces the impact of air convection on the pyranometer while the inner cover blocks infrared radiation from the outer cover, improving measurement accuracy.
- Multiple Output Forms: Supports current (4-20mA), voltage (0-2.5V, 0-5V, 0-20mV), and RS485 output forms, making it easy to connect with different devices and transfer data.
- Easy Maintenance: The optical filter design is reasonable, easy to clean and replace, ensuring long-term stability and accuracy in use.
- Solar Energy Utilization: Measures solar radiation energy, providing data support for the design and optimization of solar power generation systems.
- Meteorological Observations: Monitors changes in solar radiation, providing important data for weather forecasting and climate change research.
- Agricultural Production: Guides crop planting and irrigation, improving agricultural productivity and yield.
- Building Material Aging Research: Assesses the impact of solar radiation on building materials, providing references for material selection and protection design.
- Atmospheric Pollution Monitoring: Monitors changes in solar radiation to reflect atmospheric pollution levels, offering data support for environmental protection.
- Do not dismantle or loosen the optical filter to avoid affecting measurement accuracy.
- Be especially careful when opening or closing the metal cover, as the optical filter is valuable and fragile.
- Keep the optical filter clean by regularly wiping it with a soft cloth or fur.
- The optical filter should not have water vapor condensation inside the cover.
- Regularly check whether the desiccant inside the cover has become damp (turning from blue to red or white). If necessary, replace it or dry it in an oven until it turns blue again for reuse.
- Pyranometers have good waterproof performance and can generally be left uncovered during short periods of light rain.
- However, during heavy rain (snow, ice, etc.) or prolonged rain, to protect the pyranometer, it is recommended that the observer cover the device. Once the rain stops, remove the cover immediately.
- Pyranometers that have been in use for more than two years should be recalibrated by the manufacturer or a calibration department to ensure measurement accuracy.
