Through its unique three-dimensional design, this 3D ultrasonic anemometer device not only reduces wind resistance, but also ensures stable performance under extreme conditions, making it ideal for scientific research, industry and environmental monitoring.

This anemometer is based on the principle that the propagation speed of ultrasonic waves in air is affected by wind speed. By precisely controlling the transmission and reception of the transducer, it measures the difference in propagation time between the ultrasonic wave upwind and against the wind, and then calculates the wind speed component in each direction. Since the change of ultrasonic propagation speed in the wind is proportional to the wind speed, through complex algorithm processing, it can accurately solve the wind speed vectors in the three-dimensional space, including the horizontal wind direction and vertical wind direction, which ensures the comprehensiveness and accuracy of the data.

Precision 3D ultrasonic anemometer working principle:

- Multiple pairs of ultrasonic transducers: the distance between three pairs of ultrasonic transducers is fixed, and the transducer transceiver circuit is controlled to realize multiple pairs of transducers to emit ultrasonic waves and receive ultrasonic waves in sequence.

- Measurement of flight time: Measure the flight time of ultrasonic waves in downwind and upwind, and get the wind speed components in 3 directions through the relationship between wind speed and flight time.

- Vector Synthesis Principle: The total wind speed value is derived from the vector synthesis principle, and the horizontal wind direction is derived from the wind speed component in the horizontal plane, and the vertical wind direction is derived from the vertical wind speed component.
