    The output signal is proportional to the solar irradiance over a linear range. To reduce the effect of temperature it is equipped with temperature compensation lines, and to prevent environmental effects on its performance, it is covered with two layers of quartz glass, and the cover is made by precision optical cold machining and grinding.
